Each week the Palmetto Sports Network ranks the top teams in the Upstate in the Fuddruckers Upstate Team Rankings. In the rankings teams in all classifications are included in the top-10.

At the end of the season the top ranked team enjoys the Worlds Greatest Hamburger at Fuddruckers

The Abbeville Panthers got off to a slow start to the 2022 season, but once they got on track they won the SCHSL AA state championship with a convincing 35-10 win over Oceanside, The Panthers finished the season as the top ranked Upstate team and was selected as the Fuddruckers Upstate Team of the Year.

Abbeville won the AA State championship for the eighth time since 2010

The Abbeville Panthers received the “Only Trophy You Can Eat” when Fuddruckers brought their food truck to the high school and helped the Panthers celebrate another state championship.

Head coach Jamie Nickles accepted the AA state championship trophy after the Panthers topped Oceanside 35-20.
