South Carolina High School League football championship games will be played in Orangeburg at South Carolina State’s Dawson Field.
The championship games have been played at a number of sites over the years.
For the last several years the championships of all classifications were played at Charlie Johnson Field at Benedict College in Columbia.
“We are excited about the move and are looking forward to having SC State serve as the host site for our Football State Finals,” said Dr. Jerome Singleton, Commissioner of the SCHSL.
This is the first time all five State Finals will be held at SC State.
